Streaming is free for every signed-in account. There is no follower minimum and no subscription to broadcast. Business+ does not turn on the encoder, the stream key, chat, viewers, title, category, or Go Live — those were already on. What Business+ turns on is the money layer: WTC so you can publish Gems, the live Gems rail so you see sends mid-stream, Earnings so you read session and all-time revenue, Analytics monetization views, and the paths into Whistlr Go for withdrawals. Until verification lands, Personal studios show a Business+ upsell instead of those tools. After verification, the upsell is replaced by the register next to the broadcast desk.

Publish and it hits your store immediately once you are eligible and payouts exist. Third, earn mid-stream — viewers send Gems in real time. You keep the revenue. Custom branding, flexible pricing, and a live feed so you see every send as it happens. Fourth, cash out — payments land in your dashboard the moment they clear. No holding period. No net-30. Withdraw to your bank whenever you want. Funds typically arrive in 1–2 business days after you request the transfer in Whistlr Go. Treat timing as typical, not a guarantee for every bank or region. What Opens in Studio After Verification
When Business+ lands on the account you stream with, Studio swaps Personal monetization chrome for Business+ surfaces. Expect WTC in the tab strip so you can create, price, and publish Gems. Expect the live Gems rail while you are on air so mid-stream sends are visible next to the room. Expect Earnings for the session ledger and cash-out entry points after payouts are set up in Whistlr Go. Expect Analytics for supporters, volume, and session performance beside the broadcast. New Business+ studios can still show zeros until a published Gem sells. That is intentional. Gem Performance may read that no gems have sold yet and prompt you to publish. Transaction history stays empty until viewers send. The footer prompt that asks if you are ready to start earning sends you to Set Up Gems on the WTC tab. Unlock means the tools exist — not that revenue appears before a sale.
The Second Gate: Payouts in Whistlr Go
Business+ verification and Whistlr Go payout setup are both required before the store can take money and before you can withdraw. Publishing a Gem is blocked until payouts are set up. Studio stops you with a clear requirement to set up payments in Whistlr Go before publishing gems. Even with Business+ verified, an incomplete payouts desk means your store cannot take viewer money. Stream Earnings is the ledger of what viewers spent. Whistlr Go is the cash desk: available balance, bank details, and withdrawals. Use View All Earnings on the Stream Earnings header, Pay out on Analytics, or Earnings Withdrawal in the account menu to open that desk.

What Stays Locked — and What Never Was
Until Business+ verification lands, Studio will not show WTC publishing, the live Gems rail, earnings, or withdrawals. You also cannot publish Gems until payouts are set up in Whistlr Go. That is the full lock. It does not include the encoder, the stream key, chat, viewers, title, category, or Go Live. Those stay on for every signed-in account, including Personal. Personal studios keep Credentials centered and show “Start earning revenue while you stream” instead of money tabs. Creator and Alpha accounts can still need Business+ for Gems even when ads or badges are already present. Do not confuse a public seal with an unlocked WTC tab.
Ads on Whistlr+ Are a Different Unlock
Ads are a Whistlr+ capability on the network, not a dashboard inside Live Studio. Studio does not contain campaign builders, budgets, or ad reports. Eligibility is by account type: Personal never; Creator after verification; Business always; Alpha always. If you are eligible, you run ads on Whistlr+, not in the Live Studio tab strip. Getting verified as a Creator unlocks ads. Getting verified for Business+ unlocks Gems and withdrawals. Those are not the same form and they do not replace each other. A green Verified Creator badge means ads eligibility after creator verification — it does not by itself open WTC or bank withdrawals. Purple Verified Business marks a business account that can advertise; Studio cash-out still needs Business+ and Whistlr Go.
Account type still shapes what you see after monetization. Personal accounts before Business+ see broadcast tools plus the upsell only. After Business+, the same identity gains the monetization strip and rails described above. Business accounts are built for brands that advertise and grow; they carry Verified Business and monetization chrome, with Gems and withdrawals still gated by Business+ and payouts. Creator accounts sit between identity/ads and Studio payouts. Alpha accounts always may run ads and still share the Business+ gate for Studio money tools. How to Confirm Monetization Actually Unlocked
Sign in with the account you applied under. Open Live Studio and read the chrome. If you still see Apply for Business+ or “Start earning revenue while you stream,” monetization has not unlocked yet — keep streaming and keep payouts ready. When WTC, Earnings, and Analytics appear, and the left rail can show Gems as well as viewers, verification has landed. Open WTC and confirm you can reach publish after Whistlr Go payouts are complete. Open Earnings and expect zeros until the first sale. Go live with at least one published Gem so the rail can fill. When payments clear, use View All Earnings or Pay out to withdraw in Whistlr Go.
